Davis was so excited about kindergarten and I'm so glad it lived up to his expectations. He had a great day!
His teacher is Mrs. Crosby and her assistant is Mrs. Scarbro - both are sweet ladies that made Davis feel comfortable from the very first minute.
This is what Davis said about his first day:
"My teacher made 'jitter juice' and we drank it and it got rid of our jitters."
"Landon {his friend from preschool last year} had on a white shirt."
"Mr. Green {P.E. teacher} didn't have on a green shirt but his name is Mr. Green. He might wear a green shirt tomorrow. We played 'Kitty Cat Kitty Cat, What Time is It."
I asked him if he said anything (knowing he probably was silent most of the day) and he said "I whispered to Gran and to my teacher."
Davis is blessed to be at the same school where his Gran works and that just tickles him to death.
I'm so proud of my Kindergartner!!
